Enjoy a glass of liquid sunshine either chilled or steaming hot. Vegan turmeric latte is the ultimate comfort drink for whenever your feel under-the-weather, need a mood boost or 3 pm pick-me-up. This plant powered drink is packed full of feel-good tasty spices.
pinchfresh ground black pepper cornsadd more if you enjoy the peppery taste. I often do.
Instructions
Pour the milk in the saucepan and add the rest of the ingredients. Whisk with a fork to combine.
Bring to the boil. lower the heat, and simmer for 5 minutesStir a few times to make sure the milk doesn't burn or stick to the pan.
Pour into your choice of drinking vessels.
For an iced turmeric latter version:
Add all ingredients to a jar with a lid and shoogle well to combine. Or to extract more of the spices goodness prepare the latte as above, cool and then chill.
Place ice-cubes in your glasses and pour your latte over.

Store leftover turmeric latte in the fridge, in a covered container, for up to 3 days. Although be careful that you don't store it in your favourite container as the turmeric can stain some materials.
To reheat pour back into your pan and gently heat until piping hot.
For an iced turmeric latte enjoy chilled poured over ice cubes.
Adjust the spices and sweetener to your own preferences. I often add an extra ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon as I enjoy the extra cinnamon flavour.
