A glass of tropical green smoothie is the ultimate refreshing, chilled tasty drink especially during the summer months. Prep all the ingredients into a freezer proof bag and chuck in the freezer until needed.Perfect for enjoying for a quick breakfast, afternoon pick-me-up, or as a nourishing snack.
Add all ingredients to a blender and whizz until smooth. If your blender is small blend in two batches.For a thinner smoothie add a little more water.
Enjoy immediately or keep chilled in the fridge for later.
Prep for the freezer:
Add all ingredients to a large freezer bag/container, except the water, maple syrup and flax.To save more time prep several portions in different containers.
If you have a large enough freezer spread the smoothie fruit out onto a baking tray and freeze. Then place all the frozen fruit into a freezer container. This just makes it easier to take out and place into the blender as there is less chance the fruit will freeze into one solid block.
Place the prepped smoothie mixes in the freezer for 4-6 months.
